CFA Wrap-Up: Tax Guard visits the City that Never Sleeps Published November 21, 2011

Faster than a New York Minute, the CFA convention has come and gone but, Tax Guard had a great time taking a bite out of the Big Apple. Here’s what we did:

From Denver to Time Square, this trip was a whirlwind of experience. Besides coming to the realization that reading in the back seat of a New York City cab induces feelings of carsickness, we actually learned a lot and got some work done too! We started out the convention on Wednesday at the Tax Guard booth meeting current and prospective clients to discuss our services and ideas for the future.

That night we attended the opening reception for the convention, sponsored by RPM Capital. The reception was a floating success  held in true big-city style at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum and  aircraft carrier, the USS intrepid.

On Thursday we attended the keynote speaker of the convention, Secretary of Defense, Dr. Robert Gates and then held down the booth at the convention for the rest of the day. That night we attended a final reception and grabbed some signature New York City grub to wrap up our CFA convention experience.

As always we were sad to leave the hustle and bustle of New York City. This convention was a great success for Tax Guard and the lending community as a whole. We greatly look forward to next year’s event!
