If Toddlers Wrote Letters to the IRS….. Published July 26, 2013

Whether we like it or not, the world can be a serious place.

With all the talk of foreign affairs, political wrangling, or in Tax Guard’s world, the mighty IRS and tax laws, sometimes we all just need to take a deep breath and look for a smile.

We found one in a combination of toddlers and the IRS. Whether you have kids or not, we’ve all at least at one time been one. And whether you’ve ever deeply engaged with the IRS and their cavernous laws, rules, policies, or not, everyone has to pay taxes (I’ll save the exceptions and outlying arguments for another day, but let’s just work off the general consensus here).

In this blog we came across a hilarious (presumably fiction) letter written by an honest toddler who had a thing or two to say about being classified as a “dependent”.

Read the letter here and I hope it brings you a well deserved smile-
